Werka graduated from University of Alabama and got her bachelor's degree in painting with an art history minor in 2021. Now living in Tychy, Poland, the artist utilizes mixed media in her daily art practice. Her impressive glazing technique both
in oil and acrylic painting became Werka's artistic trademark. In her works, Werka combines dreamy abstract landscapes, figurative drawing and rich texture achieved by multi-layering of charcoal
and paint. Inspired by nature, self-exploration,
and pop-culture she is drawing attention
to ever-changing colors and the mood
of the artworks.
